The 2022 ECOSOC meeting on the transition from relief to development will be held on 20 June in New York under the theme “Recurrent crises and sustainable solutions: building resilience and addressing rising food insecurity and displacement” (E/2022/L.7). The meeting will be held pursuant to General Assembly resolution 75/290 A and be co-chaired by the Vice-Presidents of the ECOSOC responsible for the Operational Activities for Development Segment (Her Excellency Ambassador Miia Rainne, Finland) and for the Humanitarian Affairs Segment (His Excellency Ambassador Diego Pary Rodríguez, Bolivia). The meeting will be held immediately preceding the ECOSOC Humanitarian Affairs Segment (21-23 June).
