The 63rd session of the Commission for Social Development (CSocD) will take place from 10 to 14 February 2025 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.

The CSocD is one of the functional commissions of ECOSOC and provides advice to the UN on social development issues. It plays a vital role in promoting social policies that support the overall development goals of the UN, particularly in relation to eradicating poverty, advancing social integration, and ensuring full employment and decent work for everyone.

The commission aims to strengthen solidarity, social inclusion and social cohesion to accelerate the delivery of the commitments of the Copenhagen Declaration on Social Development and Programme of Action of the World Summit for Social Development as well as the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
