The 2020 ECOSOC operational activities for development segment took place through a series of virtual meetings from 19 to 22 May and on 27 May 2020, under the chairmanship of the Deputy Permanent Representative of Mexico, as ECOSOC Vice-President.
The 2020 Operational Activities Segment reviewed four years of implementation of the guidance given by Member States in General Assembly resolution 71/243 on the Quadrennial Comprehensive Policy Review of UN system operational activities for development (QCPR).
