About CEPA

The United Nations Committee of Experts on Public Administration, established by the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) in its resolution 2001/45, is comprised of 24 members who meet annually at UN Headquarters in New York. The Committee is responsible for supporting the work of ECOSOC concerning the promotion and development of public administration and governance among Member States, in connection with the UN Millennium Development Goals.

The 12th Session

The 12th session of the UN Committee of Experts on Public Administration will be held at United Nations Headquarters from 15 to 19 April 2013.

  • CEPA – "Going Green"
    • In response to the mandate of the General Assembly, DPADM/DESA has partnered with the Department for General Assembly and Conference Management (DGACM) through the Integrated Sustainable PaperSmart Services (ISPS) Secretariat to strategically utilize information technology in servicing delegates with varied methods of accessing documentation.
    • The ISPS e-Publish will serve the delegates attending the 12th Session of the Committee of Experts on Public Administration by: 1) downloading documents to their mobile devices/tablets by the use of QR codes; 2) the ISPS Media makes documents available via flash-drives and; 3) the ISPS Print-on-demand provides hard copies, upon request.
    • Delegates are strongly encouraged to bring their laptops, tablets or other mobile devices to the meeting session.
